Teino Follow up guide

Follow-up Made Simple, Discipleship Made Possible

Why Follow-Up Matters

Even small churches need a plan to care for people after they visit or make a decision for Christ. Without follow-up, people can easily be forgotten.

A simple system helps your team stay organized, build connection, and guide people toward spiritual growth.

Jesus didn't just call us to make converts-He called us to make disciples. That begins with intentional follow-up.

The Teínō Follow-Up System

Step 1: Capture the Contact

Use a tablet, form, or your phone to gather basic info from guests or those who respond to the message. Add them to the Teínō app, then tag and note them.

Step 2: Follow Up Within 24-48 Hours

Send a warm, timely message:

  • Thank them for visiting
  • Let them know the church cares
  • Invite them to come back or get connected

Step 3: Assign Someone to Follow Up

Inside Teínō, assign each person to a team member (ideally same gender) for personal care.

  • Follow up quickly
  • Pray for them
  • Add notes in the app

Step 4: A 4-Week Follow-Up Journey

  • Week 1: Send a quick message or call, offer prayer
  • Week 2: Invite to church or small group
  • Week 3: Offer to meet or connect them with someone
  • Week 4: Share a growth resource or next step

Step 5: Track Everything in Teínō

All notes and steps are saved, so nothing gets missed. Once someone finishes the journey, move them to "Growing" or "Discipleship".

Build a Small Follow-Up Team

You don't need a big team-just a few faithful people:

  • Coordinator: Oversees the flow and assigns people
  • Team Members: Do the follow-up and build relationships
  • Prayer Support: Prays behind the scenes
  • Admin: Helps with app setup and updates

How to Start This Sunday

Starting from scratch? Here's a simple plan:

  • Ask 2-3 people to help
  • Show them how to use Teínō (super simple)
  • Start with your last 5 guests or new believers
  • Meet for 15 minutes each week to check progress

What Makes Teínō Different

  • ✅ Made just for churches
  • ✅ Simple steps and team roles built in
  • ✅ Tracks every guest from start to finish
  • ✅ Works on any device
  • ✅ Great for small and growing churches

Final Thought

If someone visited your home and you didn't follow up-they might not come back.

It's the same in church. Following up is how we show love and care.

And love always follows up.
